The challenge was to design a volumetric box sensitive to its context. The outcome demostrates how a traditional neighborhood can successfully evolve.

Our design intention for the project was to blend this home with its environment, not compete with it. This was acheived by dedicating usable open space to the front yard, being sensitive to exterior massing and recalling the silvery palatte of the live oak trees on the exterior of the house.
